UPDATE on CHICO and…

UPDATE on CHICO and siblings regarding the big porcupine encounter: In transporting Chico to the vet, we took every turn very slowly. Despite this, every bump was quite painful for him and he did yelp. The quills were causing him so much pain 😢. At the vet's, pain meds were administered, he was sedated and he underwent a 2 hr procedure! Yes, two hours!!! Quills were on his face, his mouth, in his nose, on his chest, his legs, even all the way around on his butt.😭 Some infection was already setting in. Each quill that came out left a big hole in his skin, with blood and some puss following. He's now all cleaned up and has been given antibiotics and pain meds. He is eating and drinking. Regarding his two siblings🐶🐶, we were able to able to remove their quills as well: 30- 45 min for each of them. Again, infection had already set in, but they knew they were receiving the help they needed and were very cooperative and grateful♥️ These poor dogs 💔 Thankfully we were able to help them WITH YOUR HELP and SUPPORT. 🙏🙏🙏 Thank you!!! 💕There are no veterinary hospitals at/near these pueblos……..🏥
